Rishika is an experienced college consultant and researcher currently studying Astrophysics at Princeton University. She has served as a NASA research intern, contributing to both the Astrophysics and Planetary Science Divisions at NASA Headquarters, and has conducted independent research on interstellar turbulence modeling in the Harvard University Heller Group. At Princeton, she conducts research at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), where she is helping redesign the electron energy analyzer for the Magnetic Reconnection Experiment (MRX), and at the Princeton Space Physics Laboratory, where she works on a project characterizing graphene foils that can ultimately be used in next-generation electrostatic analyzers for space plasma instrumentation.

Aanya is a Molecular Biology major at Princeton University and plans to attend medical school after graduation.
