Rishika is an experienced college consultant and researcher currently studying Astrophysics at Princeton University. She has served as a NASA research intern, contributing to both the Astrophysics and Planetary Science Divisions at NASA Headquarters, and has led independent research on interstellar turbulence modeling in the Harvard University Heller Group. At Princeton, she conducts research at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL), where she is helping redesign the electron energy analyzer for the Magnetic Reconnection Experiment (MRX), and at the Princeton Space Physics Laboratory, where she characterizes graphene foils for next-generation electrostatic analyzers used in space plasma instrumentation.

Her passion for scientific and medical research has led her to collaborate with the IMDEA Materials Institute and Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, focusing on virology and immunology in the Amazon region.
